I love my kids, Little sister today was bopping her head to some music, and booth commented that we need to enjoy the time we get to spend with these little ones, because the free love, time and excitement they give to us goes away when they get older.
Mace will be 8 this year and he has grown up so much in 1st grade, he is such a good kid, but it is hard to see him go through the struggles he does. He cares so much what others think, every now and again he tells me no one likes him, how can I tell him enough that he is amazing to get him to believe it? How can I help him find a group of friends that will see how cool he is? Well I guess if I made it he can too.
Sister has allergies, she is allergic to chocolate, and perhaps something else, we have not pin pointed what yet, what a painful proses to find out what someone is allergic to when they have not had any new food, just a sudden new allergy. That girl will be able to handle any trial she is handed for how much pain her body gives her and for how WELL she deals with the pain. 2 WEEKS of hives and no complaints. She is doing well in school and just loves to be mothering to the other kids. We have learned that her love language is physical touch, just like daddy, knowing this has helped me be more patient with all the touching she does.
Duku has told me a few times he wants to play football for BYU, and who knows maybe one day he will. I wish my kids could sleep through the night without needing to be night time trained, It drives me crazy we are going on 2 months now with duku and we will just keep trudging along. He is doing well with his letters and numbers though, he knows all the letters and their sounds, and can count to 20, so he is moving right along.
little sister is a joy and a trial she is so cute, so loving, and so emotional, I have a theory that girls start out young with all the emotions they do so that by the time they are adults they have had a lot of time to learn how to control their emotions to even use them to there advantage, well here's hoping. She has so much to say and only a few words she uses I love when she tells me a big story in her own words you know she knows what she is saying and it is so important to her, you just have no idea what she just said. I am going to keep a record journal with my next baby for all the mile stones they make because it is driving me crazy not remembering how long these phases last ie night time training, learning to talk... but back to the point, they are so cute and I will never get this time back and I do love it.
